Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the PulseBook.Health website and related services. By using our website, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
These Terms of Use (hereinafter - "Terms") govern access to the website www.pulsebook.health (hereinafter - "Website") and use of services provided through the Website (hereinafter - "Services"), owned and operated by PulseBook (hereinafter - "PulseBook", "we", "us" or "our").
PulseBook is an AI-powered health platform that provides access to a personal medical assistant based on artificial intelligence for tracking and analyzing your medical information.
By visiting the Website, registering or using the Services, you (hereinafter - "User", "you", "your") agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. RIGHT TO USE
By using the Website and Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- All registration information you provide is accurate and current
- You will not use the Website and Services for unlawful purposes
- Your use of the Services does not violate applicable law
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the Services, you need to create an account using Google OAuth authorization. During registration, we collect:
- Email address
- Name
3.2 Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account
- All actions performed through your account
- Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use
3.3 Data Anonymization
We strongly recommend that you DO NOT upload medical documents containing your direct identifiers (name, address, passport number, medical record number). Please remove or redact all personal identifiers from documents before uploading.
3.4 Google OAuth Authorization
When you sign in via Google OAuth, we request access to the following data:
- Email address: to create and identify your account
- Basic profile information: your name and profile picture
- Account verification: to confirm that you are a real user
By signing in with Google OAuth, you authorize PulseBook to receive your basic profile information (name, email and profile picture) for the purpose of account creation and authentication. PulseBook uses Google OAuth only for secure authentication and does not request access to other Google services (Gmail, Drive, etc.).
We DO NOT have access to:
- Your Google password
- Your Gmail messages
- Your Google Drive files
- Any other Google services data
Your Google OAuth data (email and name) is used ONLY for:
- Account creation and authentication
- Displaying your profile information in the application
- Sending service-related notifications
We DO NOT sell, rent, or transfer your Google data to third parties for marketing purposes.
You may revoke PulseBook's access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings.
4. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
4.1 AI Medical Assistant
PulseBook provides access to an AI-powered chatbot that:
- Answers health-related questions
- Analyzes uploaded medical documents
- Tracks your medical history
- Provides informational recommendations
4.2 Medical History Storage
The Service allows you to:
- Upload medical documents (test results, prescriptions, scans)
- Maintain a history of conversations with the AI assistant
- View and manage your data
4.3 Subscription Types
- Free Subscription: basic access to features
- Pro Subscription: enhanced AI capabilities, higher message and upload limits

5. IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMERS
5.1 Not a Substitute for Medical Care
CRITICALLY IMPORTANT: PulseBook IS NOT:
- A medical provider
- A substitute for professional medical consultation
- A substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or physician prescriptions
- An emergency service
5.2 No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of PulseBook does NOT create a doctor-patient relationship. We do not provide medical consultations, diagnoses, or treatment.
5.3 Emergency Situations
IN CASE OF MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, IMMEDIATELY CALL 999 (UK), 112 (EU), 911 (US), OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICE. DO NOT USE PULSEBOOK FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
5.4 Informational Nature
All information provided through the Services:
- Is solely educational and informational in nature
- Is based on limited data provided by you
- Should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions
- Should be discussed with your treating physician
5.5 AI Limitations
The AI assistant:
- May provide inaccurate or incomplete responses
- Does not have access to your complete medical history
- Cannot perform physical examinations
- Cannot prescribe medications or treatment
- Operates based on algorithms that may make errors
6. USER DATA AND CONTENT
6.1 Uploaded Content
By uploading medical documents or other content, you represent that:
- You own the rights to this content or have permission to upload it
- The content does not violate third-party rights
- You have removed direct personal identifiers (name, address, etc.)
- The content does not contain information about persons under 18 years of age
- The content is accurate and truthful
- The content is not illegal, offensive, or inappropriate
6.2 Use of Your Data
We use your data for:
- Providing the Services
- Improving AI models (in anonymized form)
- Communicating with you
- Complying with legislation

6.3 Ownership Rights
You retain all rights to the uploaded content. We do not claim ownership of your medical data.
6.4 Backup
While we regularly perform backups, you are responsible for maintaining copies of important documents.
6.5 Data Retention and Deletion
We store your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion:
- Your personal data (including Google OAuth data) is deleted immediately
- Medical data and uploaded files are deleted immediately and permanently
- AI assistant chat history is deleted immediately
- Anonymized data may be retained for analytics and AI model improvement (without the ability to identify you)
- Some technical logs and backup data may be retained for up to 30 days for technical reasons, after which they are automatically deleted
- Data required for legal compliance (such as payment records for tax reporting) may be retained longer in accordance with applicable law
You may at any time:
- Delete your account through profile settings (data is deleted immediately)
- Request export of all your data before deletion
- Contact us at support@pulsebook.health to confirm deletion
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
7.1 PulseBook Rights
The Website, Services, design, logos, text, graphics, software, and other materials (except user content) are protected by copyright and belong to PulseBook or are licensed to us.
7.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use.
7.3 Prohibited
Without our written permission, you may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute Website materials
- Use our trademarks
- Create derivative works
- Decompile or reverse engineer the software
8. PAYMENTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
8.1 Payment Methods
We accept payment through Stripe. Supported methods:
- Bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
8.2 Pro Subscription
- Payment is made monthly or annually
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Prices are indicated on the Website and may change with advance notice
8.3 Refunds
Refunds are provided:
- If the Service is unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days
- For technical problems on our end
- In accordance with UK consumer rights legislation
8.4 Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings. Access to Pro features will end at the end of the paid period.
9. USE OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
9.1 Integrations
PulseBook uses the following third-party services:
- OpenAI and Google Gemini: for AI query processing
- Supabase: for data storage
- Railway: for server hosting
- Stripe: for payment processing
- Google OAuth: for authorization
9.2 Data Transfer
Your data may be processed by these services in accordance with their privacy policies. We only select reliable partners that comply with GDPR and other data protection standards.
9.3 Links to Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to third-party resources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy policies.
10. PROHIBITED USE
You are prohibited from:
- Using the Services for unlawful purposes
- Uploading malware, viruses, Trojan programs
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the system
- Using automated means (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Violating the rights of other users
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Using the Services for spam or fraud
- Reselling or commercially using the Services without permission
- Bypassing restrictions or security measures
- Collecting data from other users
- Overloading the system with excessive use
- Posting illegal, offensive, or misleading content
11. FAIR USE POLICY
We apply a fair use policy to ensure access to the Services for all users. If your usage significantly exceeds average metrics (such as excessive AI messages or uploads), we may:
- Temporarily restrict your access
- Suspend your account pending investigation
- Request that you switch to a different pricing plan
12. PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY
12.1 GDPR and Data Protection
We comply with the requirements of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and UK Data Protection Act 2018.
12.2 Medical Information
Medical information is handled with special care:
- Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS)
- Encryption at rest in the database
- Limited employee access
- Regular security audits
- Data backup
12.3 Risks and Security
You understand and accept that:
- The Internet is not completely secure, and there is a risk of data interception during transmission
- Despite the use of encryption and other security measures, security breaches are possible
- We make every reasonable effort to protect your data, including regular security audits
- In the event of a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours in accordance with GDPR requirements
- You use the Services at your own risk, but we bear responsibility in accordance with applicable data protection legislation
To ensure additional security, we recommend:
- Using a strong password for your Google account
- Enabling two-factor authentication in Google
- Not using public computers to access medical data
- Regularly checking active sessions in account settings
12.4 Your Rights Under GDPR
In accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and UK Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights:
- Right to access: You may request a copy of all your personal data that we hold
- Right to rectification: You may correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): You may request deletion of your personal data under certain circumstances
- Right to data portability: You may receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another provider
- Right to object: You may object to certain types of processing of your data, including direct marketing
- Right to restriction of processing: You may request restriction of processing of your data under certain circumstances
- Right to withdraw consent: If data processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time

13. COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTIFICATIONS
13.1 Electronic Communications
By registering, you agree to receive:
- Operational notifications (about security, changes to Services)
- Reminders and transaction confirmations
- Informational messages about updates
- Marketing messages (with the option to opt out)
13.2 Unsubscribing
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time, but operational notifications are necessary for the Service to function.
13.3 Confidential Information
Email notifications may contain confidential medical information. Ensure the security of your email.
14. MINORS
The Services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, do not use the Website.
If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 18 has created an account, please contact us at support@pulsebook.health for immediate deletion of the account and all associated data.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We DO NOT warrant:
- Uninterrupted operation of Services 24/7
- Absence of errors, bugs, or viruses
- Accuracy or completeness of information from the AI assistant
- Compliance with your specific expectations
- Achievement of any medical results
- Compatibility with all devices and browsers
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
16.1 Exclusion of Liability
PulseBook, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:
- Medical decisions made based on information from AI
- Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in AI assistant responses
- Lost profits, indirect, or incidental damages
- Loss of data or information
- Security breaches by third parties
- Actions or inactions of third-party services (OpenAI, Gemini, Stripe, etc.)
- Technical failures, downtime, or Service unavailability
- Health deterioration or medical consequences
16.2 Limitation of Amount
Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claims is limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Services within 12 (twelve) months prior to the claim arising, but not exceeding £100.
16.3 Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under UK law (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) or applicable law of your country.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PulseBook, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, demands, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Inaccurate or misleading information provided by you
- Content uploaded by you
- Violation of applicable law
18. CHANGES TO TERMS AND SERVICES
18.1 Modification of Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you:
- By email (at least 14 days in advance)
- Through notification on the Website
- In your personal account
Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
18.2 Modification of Services
We may at any time:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any features
- Change prices with advance notice (at least 30 days)
- Add new features and capabilities
- Perform technical maintenance and updates
19. TERMINATION OF ACCESS
19.1 Your Right
You may at any time:
- Delete your account through profile settings
- Write to us at support@pulsebook.health with a deletion request
- Cancel Pro subscription without deleting your account
19.2 Our Right
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice upon:
- Violation of these Terms
- Suspicion of fraud or illegal activity
- Request from law enforcement
- Abuse or excessive use of Services
- Prolonged inactivity (more than 2 years)
- Technical or legal reasons
19.3 Consequences of Termination
Upon termination of access:
- Your access to Services will be immediately blocked
- Your data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy
- You may request export of your data within 30 days (if applicable)
- Unused subscription funds may be refunded proportionally
- Certain provisions of the Terms remain in effect (intellectual property, limitation of liability, applicable law)
20. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
20.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
20.2 Jurisdiction
The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms.
20.3 Pre-litigation Settlement
Before resorting to court, the parties undertake to attempt in good faith to settle the dispute through negotiations for 30 (thirty) days. To initiate negotiations, send a detailed description of the claim to support@pulsebook.health.
20.4 Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country, including the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
21. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
21.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and PulseBook regarding the use of the Services and supersede all prior arrangements.
21.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified and interpreted to best achieve the objectives of the original provision to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
21.3 Waiver of Rights
Failure or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or remedy.
21.4 Assignment
You may not transfer, assign, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely transfer our rights and obligations to any successor or affiliate with notice to you.
21.5 Language Versions
These Terms may be translated into other languages. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the English version shall prevail.
21.6 Statute of Limitations
Any claims or actions arising from or related to these Terms must be brought within one (1) year from the date the cause of action arose, otherwise such claim or action shall be permanently barred.
21.7 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by force majeure circumstances, including but not limited to: natural disasters, wars, terrorist acts, epidemics, internet or power outages, government actions.
